The CT Findings of Gastric Lymphoma

Abstract
The CT findings in 7-cases with gastric lymphoma diagnosed by fiberoscope and surgery from Jan. 1989, to 1991, were analyzed.
Diffuse type in 4 cases, segmental type in 2 cases, and polypoid type in one case.
The thickness of involved gastric wall is from 1.5cm to 7.0cm and 3.3cm in average.
The inner margin of involved gastric wall shows clubbed shape and finger-like protrusion.
The density of thickend wall is isodense to muscle denisty on pre-and postcontrast scan .
Among 4 cases except 3 cases with prominent compression by excessive mass effect. 3 cases show relatively preserved distensibility on involved area.
Involved lymph nodes are variable, including retroperitoneal nodes below renal hilus in 3 cases.
In one case, extensive involvement of mesenteric nodes is noted with encasement of mesenteric vessels, showing sandwich sign.
